Garage Door Opener Just Clicks

I press the remote button again in normal operation the garage door would start closing and i hear a relay click and two seconds later the garage door starts moving in the opening direction.

In the case that the door responds to the switch then there s a good chance it s the remote that has an issue. The pattern repeats itself until the garage door reaches its up limit. I ve checked all the safety mechanisms. What causes your garage door opener to click.
